In calling for the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, Pope Francis described his heartfelt desire for a “24 Hours for the Lord” to be implemented around the world on the Friday and Saturday preceding the Fourth Week of Lent, i.e., March 4 and 5, with a special focus on the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
At Immaculate Heart of Mary, the “24 Hours for the Lord” will begin with Mass at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 4; it will continue with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament throughout the day on Friday, until the Stations of the Cross—in English at 6:30 p.m. and in Spanish at 7:30 p.m. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will then resume and continue throughout Friday night and Saturday morning, and conclude with Mass at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation at 9:00 a.m.
