To our IHM community,
As many of you may have already seen or heard, the archdiocese announced that I will leave IHM at the end of June to become the full-time chaplain at St. Pius X High School, effective July 1st.
As you might imagine, the news is bittersweet as I begin to say goodbye to my first parish assignment while preparing to transition to a new ministry that I am extremely excited to begin.
I cannot begin to express my heartfelt gratitude, appreciation, and love for the wonderful people I’ve had the privilege of serving here for the past three years. It has been an honor and a joy to be your priest.
I am grateful to all of you for the warm welcome I received when I arrived here as a new priest in 2021 and the love and trust you have shown me in our three years together.
In particular, I want to thank our IHM school students, faculty, and staff for being such a great source of joy for me in my early years of priesthood. To the IHM class of 2024, I can’t wait for our first day of high school together in August!
Please keep me in your prayers during this transition, and know that you are all in mine. I look forward to sharing this final month and a half.
God loves you,
Fr. Robbie
