Thank You, IHM! We are so appreciative to everyone who purchased greenery to support Mustard Seed’s ongoing mission to uplift the most vulnerable. Through your generous support, enough money was raised to supply the Jamaican apostolates with a two month supply of diapers!
FAQs
Who are the missionaries for 2015? We are so happy to have so many returning missionaries, and some brand new faces! This year’s missionaries are:
Joanie Gross (year 10), Tim Buckley (10), Teresa Aluku (8), Kevin Drawe (8), David Banks (7), Marty Bova-Banks (6), Patrick Snell (5) Lecie Harrison (4), April McCarthy (3), Vera Bettin (2), Tracy Mancinelli (1), Katrina Vader (1), Michael Obiekwe (1), Dalia Quintanilla (1), Mark Boyer (1) and Doug Spiron (1).
Does IHM School support this ministry? Yes! The school is sending staff members Katrina Vader and Dalia Quintanilla. In order to support them, IHM School will be having their annual Out of Uniform Day on Friday, February 6. Students are asked make a monetary donation or a donation of prayer to be “out of uniform.” Look for information in the e-Family and in SchoolSpeak.
Thanks to Mr. Lee and all the faculty, staff and families for their ongoing support of this ministry!
How can I support our IHM Team? We will be having a second collection the weekend of January 31-February 1 at all Masses. All donations are tax deductible, will go on your IHM donation record/receipt, and will be used as a donation to MSC in order to purchase necessary items to care for the children (i.e. diapers, medicines, vitamins, shampoos and ointments, etc). This year, our team has been asked to transport items donated by Archdiocesan 8th graders at their retreat, so we will not be collecting additional items as we have in the past. Instead, we will be making purchases of needed items in Jamaica with funds from our second collection. We appreciate your support!
