Welcome to Immaculate Heart of Mary’s Confirmation Program!
Our Confirmation Program is designed to prepare our youth’s minds and hearts to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. In doing this, we strive to provide them with a safe place to get to know themselves and their faith better, offering the knowledge and armor of God so that they may be able to go out and spread the good news of the Gospel!

All Confirmation candidates must be:- Baptized
- Practicing Catholics
- 10th grade or higher
- Participated in at least two years of religious education immediately before being confirmed
If you are in a Catholic high school, you are getting your religious education and only need to attend the immediate Confirmation preparation program, Purpose.
If you are in a non-Catholic high school, you must attend Life Teen for two years and attend the Confirmation preparation program specifically for the second-year prep; this program is called Purpose.

- July 31 - Last day to register for sessions without special approval
- August 11 - Parent Open House and Orientation
- August 18 - Parent Confirmation Meeting
- November 2 & 3 - Youth Group Food Drive
- November 9 &10 - Youth Group Food Drive
- February 1 & 2 - Winter Retreat All High School at Cove Crest
- March 15 & 16 - Confirmation Retreat at Cove Crest
- April 27 - Last Confirmation Session
- April 28 - Confirmation Session Rehearsal at 5:00 p.m.
- May 2 - Confirmation at 6:00 p.m. (check-in for Confirmandi 5:00 p.m., Sponsors 5:30 p.m.)

- Life Teen for first-year Confirmation teens (usually 9th graders), 80% attendance is needed to count as a full preparation year.
- Life Teen and Decision Point for second-year Confirmation teens (usually 10th graders): 80% attendance is needed to count as a full preparation year.
- If your teen attends a private Catholic school, they will still need to enroll and attend Decision Point (9 sessions & a retreat).
