As a society, we often avoid discussion of death. Yet, all of us will face the death of loved ones as well as our own passing. IHM is sponsoring an event on Saturday, January 21, 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. in the Lower Level of the church, to help us consider matters surrounding the end of life. We want this to be a safe place where people can bring their questions and concerns about end of life issues.
Proper planning helps avoid pain and conflict in families and sometimes with friends too. Whether we have loved ones who depend on us, or we live independently, gathering information and planning can bring peace. It ensures that our wishes and plans will be fulfilled, instead of leaving others wondering what we would have wanted.
Come, relax and learn with a trusted group of individual who are will share their professional advice and spiritual guidance. Presenters include: Nancy Coveny and Juliet Greco from the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia, Stephen H. DeBaun, Esq., Ann Serrie from Hospice Atlanta, and Elaine Bishoff from Honey Creek Woodland, Monastery of the Holy Spirit.
