Aquinas Center Discussion Panel: What Happened at the Synod on the Family
The recent Synod of Bishops in Rome gained headlines for its sometimes heated debates over controversial issues, such as communion for remarried Catholics. What did the synod accomplish? Where do we go from here? Emory University’s Aquinas Center of Theology will be convening a panel at IHM to discuss these questions on Tuesday, December 15. The panelists include Dr. Phillip M. Thompson, Executive Director of the Aquinas Center; Br. Minlib Dallh, O.P., a Dominican friar and adjunct professor at Emory; and Layla Karst, an IHM parishioner and Ph.D. student in liturgical studies at Emory.
The event begins at 7:00 in the lower level. No registration is required.
