If you are currently celebrating mass in person, please consider serving as a lector, mass guide, sacristan or audio/visual technician for any of our masses. Training is provided, and we guarantee you’ll find it rewarding to help your parish in this hour of need.
A new year of faith formation begins this Sunday, with a hybrid approach of in-person classes, virtual sessions, and at-home activities. Please pray for the catechists, parents, and students who will be participating in this new model of family-based catechesis.
Just Bakery of Atlanta is a nonprofit that provides paid job training, professional certification, and living wage work in partnership with our neighbors who resettled as refugees. They bake with local and sustainable ingredients whenever possible and work to create a more diverse, connected, and compassionate community for all. Just Bakery offers safe connections with the IHM school community through regular order pick-ups on Tuesdays.
There have been requests for us to resume an additional Sunday mass each week this fall. Before we can even consider doing that, we will need additional volunteer Mass Guides, to ensure that the experience is orderly and safe for all.
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted nearly all aspects of daily life in our communities. In normal times, IHM parishioners are quite generous, allowing Vincentians to directly support the poor with rent, utilities, clothing and food.
